Scotland
Clans & Castles tour to Scottish Highlands!
You’ll overnight there the first night, experiencing the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery. This is a favorite of the locals and tourists with stunning architecture and a family friendly environment. You’ll also see Glasgow’s central city highlights full of red sandstone Victorian buildings, parks, Cathedrals, and the River Clyde.
Day 2 finds you embarking on a short Loch Lomond cruise for breathtaking panoramic views. Stroll through the town of Inveraray and see the Castle (featured in Downtown Abbey). Travel across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe, which is considered one of Scotland’s most beautiful places. Then continue on to Ballachulish on the shore of Loch Leven. (Breakfast and dinner included.)
Day 3 is the “Road to the Isles” through the loveliest scenery, stopping for photos at the Glenfinnan Monument, built in tribute to the Jacobites that fought and died for Bonnie Prince Charlie. Enjoy the panoramic tour of the Isle of Skye and visit the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle. Keep your camera handy as you travel the shores of Loch Ness on the way to Nairn. (Breakfast and dinner included.)
On day 4 you’ll have a short distance from Nairn to the Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre where the British Government forces defeated the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, popularly name Bonnie Prince Charlie.
Walk around the moor, find the Clan Fraser grave site, and many others. Continue through majestic Highland scenery to a local farm for a demonstration of trained sheep herding dogs. Travel through the high peaks of the Grampian Mountains to your gracious manor-style hotel near Pitlochry. (Breakfast and dinner included.)
Day 5 has you visiting beautiful Blair Castle, home of Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Delve into the history of Mary, Queen of Scots, Bonnie Prince Charlie, and Queen Victoria.
Go behind the scenes at Blair Atholl Distillery for a tour and sample of their whiskey. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the gardens, hotel museum, or browsing around Pitlochry. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 6 brings you to the lush countryside to visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of “MacBeth” and childhood home of the late Queen Mother. This majestic building is filled with priceless artifacts and furnishings.
Then off to St Andrews, the “Home of Golf,” to see the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the Old Course. Enjoy free time to browse through the medieval town. Ending the night in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, to enjoy a traditional Scottish evening with dinner, haggis, bagpipes, kilts, and Highland dancing. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 7 you’ll get to explore Edinburgh. Tour included of the imposing Edinburgh Castle with its splendid views of the city. The rest of the day is free for independent exploration, shopping, and dining. (Breakfast only this day.)
Day 8 is breakfast and the tour is over…either make your way to the airport, or additional days can be added to include a London stay if you wish.

This Week’s Specials-Sept, 2019
While researching for people’s ideal vacation getaways, I often come across GREAT prices on places you may not have thought it’s possible to see. For instance, I was looking for a cruise in the Mediterranean for a friend and found a fantastic price on a 7 day cruise from Venice to various spots in Italy, Greece, and Croatia! Dec. 2-9 offers the BEST rates, starting at $329 for an inside cabin. Port fees extra, and of course getting to and from Venice is extra, but what a fantastic value for all the places you could see!
There’s usually pretty great cruise deals close to home, too. For example, a 7 day cruise from New Orleans on April 28, 2020 going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay, staying in a balcony room for $1813.78 per couple (tax and port fees included)!
Or, there’s always flying into one city, like Orlando and renting a vehicle then driving up or down the coast. That way you can see several locations, you can be in control of how many nights in each, and it can all be pre-arranged. No driving from town to town hoping for a vacancy, we can have it all mapped out for you ahead of time.
You could see historical sites, beaches, mountains, whatever your heart desires. This is a great way to see more of our country and explore at your pace.
Whatever you’re wanting to see or do, give me a call, I’d love to help make it happen!

Alaska Cruise / Tour – 17 May, 2019
Alaska. The great wilderness. It is truly like no other place on earth.
Locals say the best time to travel there is spring, May, for seeing lots of wild life. That’s because the mommas are still down low on the mountains. Once summer kicks in, they move to cooler climes, higher up in the mountains and they are no longer visible.
Spring can also be very nice, temperature wise. When I was there in May, temps were often in the upper 70’s and even in the lower 80’s. Nights are cooler, and I often needed a light jacket.
Here’s some pricing for May 17-24 for a northbound cruise from Vancouver to Seward. There’s an optional 3 day rail trip you can add-on as well, which travels from Anchorage to Fairbanks through Denali. This is a beautiful trip and if you have the time, I HIGHLY recommend adding this!
Airfare is not included, but can be added. These are some GREAT prices for an Alaskan cruise and won’t last very long. If you are interested in this, or any other Alaskan cruises, please feel free to contact me!
