When people find out what I do they often have many questions. Which is fine, I LOVE talking about travel. I am interested in finding out what each person prefers to do on vacation.
Some people only want to walk a few steps to the beach from their hotel and plop down in a cabana chair and umbrella, staying there all day. Others want action, their time being planned out with mini-golf, swamp craft rides, parasailing, or hiking destinations mapped out. While others would be content to wander from museum to cafe to river walk, to shops all day.
Whatever you prefer, you can get. When working with an agent, make sure they know what you want out of your vacation. Certain locales are specifically designed for the active traveler, while other locales cater to the beach sitter.
Communication is KEY! The more you discuss things, the better. As an agent, we will know your name, age, and address, but also we should know what you like, if you have any food allergies, or requests, whether or not you’re diabetic, for example. Also, ages of your kids, what they like, need to do, on a vacation. If you’ve never worked with an agent before, you might feel as if we’re prying, but it is truly just so you will have the best experience on your vacation!
So next time you are thinking of a trip, think about why you want to go somewhere and maybe what type of trip you’d like this go around…whether it’s the sit and listen to the ocean vacation or all hands on deck in the activities department! It will help your agent to find the best prices, while also getting exactly what YOU want!
I’d be honored to be your agent any time you need assistance.
Let’s Go Travel,
Sharon
